I am an all purpose programmer and do like my own web design. I am Norvel M. IV but I go by Josiah. I have been on some FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics teams. I was on build team before program team and am mechanically inclined. I made stuff to record/transfer/restore timestamps from Linux on Ext4 file systems. I program mostly on Ubuntu Linux desktop. I have made math stuff like programs/libraries. I have made Windows 10 and older Android apps before.
Long ago first there was Lego NXT programming on an old robotics team. Then there was Android programming for a robotics team, Java, XML, Gradle stuff with FTC near 2016. I then learned Javascript from a book and some HTML soon after including some jQuery. After that I self learned some Python and C stuff. After that I started college and learned more C family and Python officially. Later I learned Kotlin, Ruby and Swift self taught for some libraries. I have gone through that official Kotlin tutorial online from Kotlin lang.
Later I learned SQL with some MySQL in college. I also learned CSS and PHP self taught, CSS on W3Schools.com and also PHP from that source 2024. Bash (Bourne Again SHell) I learned in early 2024 because I could not get timestamps to transfer on like my Ubuntu computer. Recently, near month 6, I started learning Rust and Go trying to compile a desktop app cross platform. I have so far learned those some more and also found during search that GLSL may be used for shaders which I would like to make. Still learning GLSL some now. I like gradients.
